Supply Chain

We use certified organic and fair trade sugar cane sourced from Sao Paulo that is manufactured on self-sufficient mills that are run through the energy burnt by sugarcane bagasse, making it carbon neutral.

Our Hemp is sourced from Australian farms across Tasmania, Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales. Hemp absorbs more CO2 per hectare than any other forest or commercial crop, meaning it helps purify the air we’re breathing (love that for us). As if that wasn’t enough, hemp plants also have taproots that clean the soil and prevent erosion all whilst helping to eliminate man-made toxins from soil. Find Out More.


Palm Free

The production of palm oil contributes to destroying the habitats of endangered animals through rapid deforestation and we're just not about that. This large-scale destruction of rainforests is also releasing significant quantities of carbon pollution into the atmosphere, making palm oil a major global driver of human-induced climate change.  Find out more

Packaging
Our Masks and oils are packaged in glass, bamboo and aluminium with labels made for Bagasse (sugarcane waste). In production, Bagasse has a lower carbon footprint than wood pulp, lowering pollution and preserving forest ecosystems. 

how does hemp help my skin?

Hemp helps to regulate oil production. It is packed with fatty acids and omegas which help moisturise the skin without clogging pores. It can work to balance out oily skin and keep it hydrated.

can I use the hemp body scrub on my face?

Face scrubs are made specifically for the face, so body scrubs have more grit and larger particles in them giving them a rougher exfoliation which could damage sensitive skin on the face. Our Hemp scrub includes ground hemp which is very soft of the skin which helps combat the harshness of the sugar particles.

does the hemp body scrub use hemp seed oil or CBD hemp?

All our hemp products use Hemp Seed oil which is free from HTC (that's the part that gets you high). What's the difference? Hemp seed oil comes from the seeds of the plant and CBD comes from plant flowers and leaves. 

Can I use the hemp sugar body scrub if I'm pregnant?

We recommend you consult your doctor before body scrubbing whilst pregnant and breastfeeding. Pregnancy can deplete your body of nutrients and hemp can help nurture the skin.
